Faculty 07: History and Cultural Studies / Department of Ancient Studies / Egyptology of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of an independent research project in the field of Egyptological ‘Social Archaeology’, ideally with reference to Thebes/Upper Egypt as well as presentation of own research results at conferences and workshops
  • 2 SWS teaching load per semester
  • Supervision of homework and examination activities
  • Support for projects and events of the department Egyptology, the IAW and participation in the coordination of the German House Qurna/Thebes in cooperation with the German Archaeological Institute, Cairo Department (DAIK)
