Academy Sonographer

The post holder will be required to prepare and provide training for trainees during their session commitment. The training sessions will be for specialist trainees in radiology as well as other health professionals such as Sonographers while joining our busy, friendly Ultrasound team to perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general abdominal, gynaecological, paediatric, transplant kidneys, small parts, venous and carotid Doppler ultrasound. The post holder will form part of both the Ultrasound Team and the Regional Imaging and Diagnostics Academy, working alongside other allied healthcare workers, consultant radiologist trainers, Training Programme Directors, Academy Lead and Academy Management team to develop and deliver an Ultrasound training and imaging programme using ultrasound simulated training equipment and clinical ultrasound sessions.
