PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensure daily workflow of new business acceptances and timely funding of premiums in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Three years of experience in premium finance or related financial fields
3. Data entry skills
4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
5. Ability to execute sound judgment based on knowledge and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Five years of experience in premium finance or related financial fields
  2. Fiscal or banking background with a focus on data entry
  3. Financial services or insurance premium finance experience

Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Acceptance/approval and processing of new accounts and additional premiums to active accounts within individual approval limits.
2. Process New Business Acceptance Forms for mailing.
3. Assist in the processing of outgoing mail and courier delivery.
4. Prepare premium and refund computer generated checks for issuance and signature by following established procedures.
5. Perform diligent and timely follow-up on all pending matters.
