Description:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in life sciences, economics, public health, business administration or a relevant subject.
- Requires minimum 5+ years’ relevant experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, agency consulting, global health or vaccine programme analyses preferred.
- Experience of access to medicines, public health, stakeholder/partnership management or LMIC markets preferred.
- Self-starter with strong planning and project management skills, and with a flexible, positive, pro-active attitude
- Strong analytical skills, with proven capabilities interpreting data and qualitative research and distilling into actionable key takeaways and talking points.
- Experience of working internationally with multiple stakeholders preferred.
- Takes ownership of their work and delivers solutions even when there may be ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Can challenge and disagree whilst maintaining good relationships then commit to a path forward.
- Clear written, verbal and presentational communication skills, other languages a plus.
TRAVEL AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
- The role will be based in London (UK), Oslo (Norway) or Washington DC (USA)
- It will require working across the regions and will require travel to other countries as projects progress.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key component of delivering on CEPI’s 100-day Mission, we are growing our team and creating new roles.
This role will be part of a small team of professionals to work cross-functionally, across Research + Development (R+D), Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC) and Policy and Public Partnerships, to support and report on the delivery of end-to-end access strategies at a partner and pathogen level, necessary for CEPI and its partners to prepare for and respond to epidemic or pandemic outbreaks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides strategic and analytical skills to input and support on selected CEPI priority workstreams:
- In close collaboration with other CEPI departments, defines and operationalises process flows to drive insight gathering, consolidation and analysis into actionable insights and internal coordination of research and analysis
- Coordinates and conducts secondary research, analyses data on internal and external equitable access frameworks and derives actionable insights that may impact CEPI 2.0 strategy and its implementation activities.
- Supports CEPI’s end-to-end access strategy as part of Disease Strategic Roadmaps, and identifies, evaluates and addresses opportunities and issues within the end-to-end vaccine value chain, facilitating resolution and alignment in close cooperation with relevant CEPI stakeholders.
- Assesses and identifies external organisations and stakeholders to partner with on initiatives in support of the 100 day mission, CEPI 2.0 goals, and Equitable Access policy.
- Refreshes, maintains and reports on key results indicators for equitable access at CEPI to internal and external audiences, and inputs to internal governance committees as appropriate.
