As a Product Manager at Apple, you will hold dual product management and product marketing responsibilities. Our accessibility technologies are built into the heart of Apple devices, so our products can empower everyone in whatever it is they wish to accomplish. We are looking for a skilled Product Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing team to focus on advancing accessibility technologies across all Apple platforms. This person must be a strong communicator, with a keen sense of how technology is used by everyone. This position works closely with engineering teams for OS platforms, as well as cross-functionally with human interface design, developer technologies, government liaisons, and public relations. KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with multiple operating systems across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Prior experience developing and marketing accessibility features preferred.
  • Track record working closely with engineering/technical teams.
  • Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Press and media experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide marketing, as well as product and domain leadership for the accessibility features within macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS. In this role you will: - Research technology trends, competitive landscape, and user feedback to identify new product opportunities that would improve the lives of technology users with differing abilities. - Collaborate with software engineering and product designers to define product roadmap and strategy. - Work with the Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives team at Apple to coordinate corporate goals and initiatives with product and feature planning. - Negotiate and influence product trade-offs impacting schedule and user experience. - Craft compelling messaging to make users of all ability levels aware of Apple accessibility features, positioning within specific target markets, as well as to the general public. - Launch new products and features worldwide in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations, and events teams. - Serve as an ambassador for accessibility features via press briefings and customer engagements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

BA/BS degree and/or MBA or equivalent preferred
