Accommodation Assistant - Full-time

at  Ballyfin House Hotel

This is a full-time position, working 5 days over 7 days (Monday to Sunday). Flexibility is required.
The working hours are 8am to 4pm.

• To ensure that the areas of work allocated to you present to the highest possible standards of cleanliness, and guest comfort at all times and to promote a positive image to both guests and colleagues alike.
• To collect floor keys and room list from the Accommodation Manager/ Supervisor each morning and to be responsible for the safekeeping of any keys or key cards entrusted to you and ensuring they are returned at the end of your shift along with correctly completed documentation to show schedule of work.
• To be responsible for the routine servicing of guest bedrooms and bathrooms both occupied and departure as allocated, to the required standard.
• The cleaning of public areas and toilets within the hotel as instructed.
• The cleaning of corridor in both public areas and bedroom sections as instructed.
• Carry out any periodic cleaning or specific tasks (job of the day) in addition to normal service.
• To help in other areas of accommodation when required i.e. laundry. Public areas.
• To use provided cleaning materials as per manufacturers’ instructions and as per training.
• To remove damaged and stained linen from circulation and leave with discards for Accommodation Manager.
