OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, Accommodation Supervisorensure will provide the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with departmental and Hotel standards providing quality service to our guests in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements.

• To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the hotel at all times in accordance with the standards as set out by the Accommodation Manager
• To ensure the programme of deep cleans are completed
• To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the hotel at all times
• To ensure all guest bedrooms, public areas, corridors, stairwells and staff areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard
• To liaise with Reception to ensure availability of rooms and special requests i.e. flowers, cot etc.
• To assist in training and coaching of all accommodation staff
• To supervise all accommodation staff
• To issue staff with daily work schedules
• To ensure all linen rooms and trolleys are kept in a neat and tidy manner
• To ensure all rooms are thoroughly checked every day so that standards are achieved and maintained
• To maintain all toilet facilities throughout the hotel including staff toilets and changing rooms in a clean and hygienic manner at all times

• To manage the maintenance requirements of the bedrooms and public areas in liaison with the maintenance department
• To clean bedrooms if required.
• To handle lost property according to the agreed standard
• To work a flexible shift pattern and rotate through the various areas of the Housekeeping Department if required.
• To assist all guests in the hotel at all times with any requirements they may have such as extra towels, tea, pillows etc.
• To be responsible for the cleanliness of any additional items that may be added to guest bedrooms or public areas at a future date
• To ensure that equipment is not abused and is used for its specific purpose only.
• To be responsible for your own safety and of those around you. Ensuring that cables from hoovers are not left trailing, fire exits are not blocked by trollies etc.
• To provide support where necessary in other areas of the hotel.
• To carry out any other reasonable request by senior management.
