QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations in a hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to high-quality standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of housekeeping attendants, providing ongoing training and development.
  • Conduct thorough room inspections to guarantee cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage room assignments, ensuring timely turnaround between departures and arrivals.
  • Address guest queries and concerns promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports on housekeeping activities.
  • Liaise effectively with other departments, such as reception and maintenance.
  • Inventory and manage housekeeping supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of health and safety within the department.
