Excitingly, we have a current opening for a whip smart Account Director to join our Publicis LeOne team on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This role offers a unique opportunity to be the lynchpin across our client’s portfolio of brands, guiding the day-to-day operations. You will be the main point of contact and operate seamlessly at the intersection of all craft teams, bringing together Strategy, Investment and Performance to deliver on client campaigns. You will be involved in best-in-class planning, connecting the dots from both an offline and online channel perspective, as well as drive dynamic sponsorships and content partnerships. You will have the platform to exercise your leadership and coaching experience, looking after 2-3 direct reports within the team.

Reporting into the Business Director, your scope will include:

  • Day-to-day client relations/management; working closely with the client brand teams to field any briefs/requests and operate as their agency key contact
  • Translating strategy into effective implementation recommendations across offline and online channels as well as sponsorships and content partnerships
  • Leading the upcoming 2025 planning process with the support of the Business Director and other channel leads
  • Project managing briefs and mobilising the internal craft teams to deliver on brief responses and campaigns
  • Influencing and mentoring direct reports including two Digital Account Managers and an Account Executive

WHAT TYPE OF PERSON WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in media or marketing across various categories
  • A strong background in account service, project management and implementation planning
  • A solid understanding of offline, online, and emerging channels
  • Advanced knowledge of the Australian media landscape
  • In depth knowledge of syndicated and proprietary tools
  • A proven track record in leading teams and being a trusted advisor to clients
  • Strong process management skills and perseverance with resolving ongoing issues
