Job Purpose:
To manage TLC campaigns from start to completion; to provide an excellent, ongoing service to clients, offering guidance and advice that results in successful delivery. To offer digital consultancy in the innovation part of the agency both in the sales and in the delivery of the campaigns. To support the sales team with client pitches and bids and achieve repeat business through developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients. To manage, direct and be responsible of the client service team to ensure the attainment of individual, team and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Take ownership of accounts and ensure delivery against all targets set
  • Manage key accounts, directing the timing and implementation; write creative copy for all print and online literature; approve creative briefs, proposals, printed and digital materials; and ensure written approval is given by the client before going to print. Update internal departments on progress, including product development, sales design, web development, and concierge
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of all campaigns managed by the client services team; that they are delivered to budget and in line with service line agreements
  • Produce weekly UK cross-departmental reporting and feedback to country head and CEO
  • Provide optimum level of resources to meet project requirements whilst maximising profitability of each account
  • Share key learning’s from campaigns with colleagues and apply to future campaigns

Client Handling

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients through regular and appropriate contact and build trust
  • Have face to face contact with the client wherever possible
  • Oversee the evaluation of promotion effectiveness and review individual campaign performance against client objectives and attend any post-evaluation meetings with the client
  • To anticipate and identify any potential problems and provide solutions
  • Attend all client meetings and direct formal presentations as appropriate
  • Act as an ambassador for clients services for TLC external clients and internal departments

Sales Support

  • To identify and act on any opportunities to develop further business with existing and new clients; sell through excellent customer relationship skills to ensure the client services team works with the sales team to support bids and assist them with pitches including job costing
  • Keep sales team updated at key stages in the campaign delivery process

Commercial

  • Ensure payment billing schedule is agreed before work commences and arrangements are enforced
  • Estimate profit level on all projects and ensure each one is delivered with minimum back end cost
  • Negotiate TLC’s terms of business with the client to optimise the profitability of campaigns and ensure promotions adhere to legal regulations
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of TLC

Management

  • Direct team members as appropriate and ensure they meet objectives
  • Distribute workloads and campaigns that enables the team to work as efficiently as possible
  • Accountable for the quality and accuracy of work produced by the whole team
  • Ensure the team follows the correct procedures, processes and review and improve work methods
  • Responsible for operational tasks, including office related matters, conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, monitoring absence, handling disciplinary issues.
  • Responsible for recruitment, issuing employee contracts, monitoring legal costs and seeking support from HR as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Considerable experience in delivering a consistently high standard of service in line with client expectations and provide valuable advice and guidance. Perceptive to client needs, able to adapt to changes and quickly resolve any problems to the satisfaction of the client
  • Experience working in a managerial position; leading, directing and motivating individuals and teams’ and managing operational and employee issues
  • Practiced in managing and overseeing large scale client facing projects, managing workflows and monitoring work quality
  • Experienced in developing effective working relationships with clients and work colleagues at all levels and able to influence people to bring about the most successful outcomes that are mutually beneficial to all parties.
  • Can build effective relationships with internal work colleagues; provides support where needed; shares information, knowledge and ideas and treats people with respect
  • Takes a commercial view when decision making in order to maximise the value to be gained from campaigns. Significant knowledge of the industry and any new and emerging practices and how to exploit them, and remains aware of what competitors are doing
