WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Account Director is the face of the agency to the client and the face of the client to the agency. This role will be seen as the Account Lead on their portfolio of clients and will be responsible for leading and driving strong, innovative strategies to help their clients succeed.
The Account Director will be expected to nurture strong relationships with our clients and problem solve when there are escalations or concerns raised.
Note - as we’re currently a small team in the UK, this role will be more hands on than the equivalent role at larger agencies. The position is ideal for someone who is happy getting involved in day to day Account Management tasks, as well as overseeing strategy and client relationships. As we grow the team over the next 12-18 months, we will introduce more junior roles to Client Services. At the moment it’s all hands on deck! This is a great opportunity if you want to be part of a growing team where you can have an impact and help shape the future of Situation UK.

SAMPLE DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day to day Account Management & Direction, with the support of an Account Executive, for several West End and Arts & Culture clients
  • Prepare and run client and internal meetings
  • Execute and develop strong strategic campaigns across paid, owned and earned placements in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Communicate on a very regular basis with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as Producers, General and Company Managers and vendors, including other agency partners

  • Identify opportunities for client growth and innovation
  • Act as “marketing director” and identify clients needs; assertively push where a need is present and our services can provide a solution
  • Act with autonomy for most day-to-day decision making and managing of accounts. Know when decisions and issues need to be managed up for more senior level buy-in and support
