    We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who enjoys working in a fast-growing cloud communications company and thrives in an international environment. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities.
    Responsibilities
    Successfully prospecting and closing new clients/partners in line with the agreed strategy (full sales-cycle ownership)
    Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for 8x8 to agreed annual qualitative and quantitative targets
    Responsible for managing the relationship with key accounts and interact at all levels within the customer’s organization
    Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process
    Manage and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up-to-date
    Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation
    Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored
    Be able to handle sales objection, CXO conversations, rallying industry executive relationships, negotiate and close deals
    Participating in sales and marketing activities and relevant Global industry events
    Building current account strategy based on analysing data to find opportunities and prove value
    Keeping updated on industry trends and movements and advising management accordingly through regular networking
    Introducing, uploading and maintaining relevant prospect/customer information into the company’s CRM tool
    Qualifications
    5+ years experience driving direct enterprise sales in a reputable software or SaaS company. Previous experience in the mobile or internet industry is highly beneficial
    Track record of exceeding ambitious revenue goals/quotas in previous positions strongly desired
    Strong sales discipline and willingness to lead pipeline and internal sales processes which might require admin effort. Ability to organize and prioritize.
    Experience with contracting and negotiating
    Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    Demonstrate hands-on experience in building strong business relationships and to leverage their exceptional sales skills with effective and proven track records of successful results
    The perfect candidate is self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
    Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude
    Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment
    Excellent overview of the business to closely track industry and product trends to stay at the top of the game
    Customer-driven focus and excellent people skills to establish a good rapport with customers
    Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and cope with pressure
    High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
    The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
    Salary Ranges:
    $173,250.00 - $288,750.00
