Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey. This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in partnership with your customer, to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes. Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.

COMPETITIVE KNOWLEDGE

Leverages internal network of industry experts to strengthen knowledge of the industry (e.g., emerging trends), competitors (e.g., AWS, Salesforce) and customer business priorities (e.g., challenges, competitive landscape) and leverages in-depth knowledge of Microsoft’s offerings (e.g., product landscape, solutions, strategy to address customer needs) to share knowledge internally, influence customers’ business capabilities, drive more competitive solutions, and enhance growth of the account team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry Experience: Significant experience working in the Netherlands Financial Services Industry (Insurance) is preferred. Familiarity with the specific challenges and dynamics of this industry is essential.
  • Digital Transformation Expertise: Candidates should demonstrate a track record of driving digital transformation within enterprise customers. This involves understanding how technology can enhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth.
  • Consulting or Sales Background: A strong background in consulting, business, or relevant sales is highly desirable. Candidates who can navigate complex business challenges and propose effective solutions will stand out.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Successful candidates exhibit a customer obsession. They seek to understand customer needs deeply and propose tailored solutions that align with Microsoft’s offerings.
  • Virtual Team Leadership: Experience working with and leading virtual teams across multiple roles and domains is essential. The ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed environment is crucial.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong candidate embraces a growth mindset. They actively seek solutions for difficult and complex business challenges, adapting to changing circumstances and learning continuously.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL:

  • Create and lead strategies for high-impact/high-profile accounts that open new opportunities and yield high-volume sales for both Microsoft and its partners that are aligned to goals, outcomes, and forecasts.
  • Proactively build and expand strategic network of key internal and external partners and decision makers to ensure execution of core tasks and account transactions, and to provide a comprehensive account management experience.
  • Have a broad and deep understanding of Financial Services Industry with a focus on Insurance customers.
  • Develop opportunities to drive optimizations and new digitalization based on customers’ goal of cloud adoption.
  • Understand customer drivers of business and technology transformation and leverages deep knowledge of customer’s business to engage internal teams to accelerate co-innovation and digital transformation and strategy.
  • Cultivates, leverages, and manages a strategic set of relationships and uses Microsoft business-value sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer’s organization to establish alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution.
  • Leverage knowledge of and experience with Microsoft’s product landscape, solutions, and strategy to generate insights, provide thought leadership, and address customer’s needs and translate needs into Microsoft solutions.
