Description:
Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve/exceed Orders, and Sales for the Telecom account, focussing on business development for CNS Networks in particular managed and professional services.
The applicant needs to demonstrate proactiveness, high energy, and strategic thought leadership combined with strong relationship skills and ability to deliver outcomes.
This person will be required to understand and help develop the customer’s strategic and future business plan while identifies business solutions/products/service capability for a sustainable long-term business.
- Achieve or exceed all business and related targets and objectives.
- Drive a sustainable growth strategy for CNS Networks in the domain of Managed Services/Cloud and Cognitive Services (CCS).
- Drive business growth across project based activities such as platform lifecycle management & site based professional services.
- Partner with the delivery teams to optimise customer experience of L0/L1 support through increasing Nokia scope and increased use of tooling.
- Support the organisation in a drive to a service based operations model.
- Implement strategic account management, including review and pipeline management.
- Develop compelling sales proposals including internal selling through the approval process
- Build and cultivate high-level relationships with customers as appropriate.
- Own and lead all commercial matters within current portfolio
- Resolve key issues and escalations within portfolio
- Communicate effectively and frequently at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent familiarity with the telecommunications carrier sector and a real interest in technology and its creative applications.
- The identification of business opportunities, the ability to determine their commercial viability and establish the business case and prepare strategies and plans to convert the opportunities to sales.
- A proven track record of selling to senior and executive levels to complex carrier organisations.
- A self-starter with a high degree of personal motivation.
- Experience to include selling managed and professional services and solutions. Proven success in winning new business (‘hunter’).
- Knowledge of digital transformation principles and experience highly valued.
- Commercial acumen with strong experience in shaping and negotiating deals.
- Leading virtualized teams to solve complex business problems.
- The ability to work across cultures and geographies with excellent inter-personal communications skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, dynamically changing environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in technology are essential with additional business/commerce qualifications preferred.
