SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business and/ or logistics or extensive industry experience
- Professional composure with outstanding customer service
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve with a structured approach
- Ability to influence decisions and negotiate
- Understanding of data analytics and presentation of statistics
- Dangerous Goods background highly advantageous
- Strong leadership, mentoring and management skills
- Ability to travel when required
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Work directly with customers to build tactical solutions
- Manage the communication flow of the customer’s needs and contractual requirements to ensure all KPI’s and other requirements are understood and met
- Ensure customer satisfaction and enhance visibility of operational performance
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build solutions supporting revenue growth, value creation and share of wallet across provision of logistics services
- Prepare and present periodic reports including agreed KPIs, commercial data and other agreed reporting metrics in a professional and accurate manner
- Participate in site based and online meetings and other activities relative to assigned portfolio
- Communicate significant trends, rate changes and operational methodologies to internal and external stakeholders
- Reduce customer churn by connecting internal teams to collaborate on solutions to improve overall service delivery
- Promote an environment of trust and respect within the team
