SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business and/ or logistics or extensive industry experience
  • Professional composure with outstanding customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve with a structured approach
  • Ability to influence decisions and negotiate
  • Understanding of data analytics and presentation of statistics
  • Dangerous Goods background highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership, mentoring and management skills
  • Ability to travel when required

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Work directly with customers to build tactical solutions
  • Manage the communication flow of the customer’s needs and contractual requirements to ensure all KPI’s and other requirements are understood and met
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and enhance visibility of operational performance
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build solutions supporting revenue growth, value creation and share of wallet across provision of logistics services
  • Prepare and present periodic reports including agreed KPIs, commercial data and other agreed reporting metrics in a professional and accurate manner
  • Participate in site based and online meetings and other activities relative to assigned portfolio
  • Communicate significant trends, rate changes and operational methodologies to internal and external stakeholders
  • Reduce customer churn by connecting internal teams to collaborate on solutions to improve overall service delivery
  • Promote an environment of trust and respect within the team
