WHAT DOES AN ACCOUNT MANAGER DO AT HOGARTH?

We are looking for a pioneering, innovative Account Manager to further inspire our clients and agency partners to deliver the marketing campaign of tomorrow and beyond. This role is pivotal in managing the Transcreation, Translation and Production process of print, digital and video assets globally, collaborating closely with your clients, team members, as well as other production teams and hubs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day localisation contact for client stakeholders and Hogarth internal departments.
  • Being the main point of contact for a cluster of local markets
  • Taking and clarifying briefs from local clients
  • Arrange briefing or review calls with local market talents and clients to clarify briefs or feedback
  • Establish a trusting relationship with local clients, talents and internal teams alike.
  • Handle all aspects of campaign localisation, from transcreation through to delivery of localized assets.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates against the Rate Card for SAM or AD approval.
  • Help create a ‘copy breakdown’ and develop a new master brief for language adaptation, preparation of copydecks.
  • Coordination between clients, freelance linguists and Hogarth teams.
  • Assess language quality of transcreations or translations received from local talents, ensuring accuracy of the copy and consistency across all markets in your region.
  • Work closely with internal production teams, e.g. Print, Digital, Broadcast, and ensure localisation work is carried out according to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure a final check of the copy and localised assets is done before files go to client.
  • Respond to information requests from senior members of the team.
  • Highlight and escalate quality control issues immediately to SAM and AD.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of the brand.
  • Organisation of language and localisation content and supporting documents into agreed folder structure.
  • Ensure that campaign and overall trackers are always maintained.
  • Support the senior team in supplying client management information and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Industry-relevant experience of working in a Localisation, or Transcreation environment/agency
  • Experience with language process: Transcreation, copy approvals
  • Experience with localisation process: briefing of multidiscipline teams to localise print, social, digital and moving images assets.
  • Fluent oral and written English essential, understanding and knowledge of another language desirable.
  • Deep passion for languages and all its aspects (grammar, semantics, copywriting) as well as international campaign adaptation.
  • Good time management skills, attention to details and prioritisation when working with high volume of briefs in a time sensitive environment.
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of CAT tools preferred.
  • High level of IT literacy, including use of spreadsheets
  • Strong numeracy skills
