Responsibilities:

Join Global Payments Oceania as an Account Manager, where you’ll support the General Manager Wholesale in driving the profitable growth of our direct merchant acquiring services. This role is key to executing our wholesale strategy and achieving company objectives within this segment.
Your primary focus will be assessing, onboarding, and fostering the commercial growth of new customers with niche acquiring needs, alongside managing and retaining key direct acquiring customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product set and its value proposition.
  • Assist the General Manager Wholesale in identifying and assessing potential new customers;
  • Oversee the implementation planning and coordinate technical execution for onboarding new customers;
  • Contribute to revenue growth through client retention, cross-selling new products, and collaborating with key referral partners;
  • Assist with pre-sales activities and go-to-market engagements for wholesale acquiring opportunities;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend and implement changes to organization design, systems, and processes for optimal service;
  • Manage ongoing accounts for specialist acquiring customers;
  • Assess and document monthly and quarterly risk and compliance requirements for specialist acquiring customers.
