Description:

New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our South Island team based in Dunedin. In this role, you will collaborate with both local and national businesses to grow their profiles, expand their customer bases, and drive sales through innovative advertising solutions spanning our radio, publishing, and digital platforms.
The media sales landscape is fast-paced, exciting, and constantly evolving. We are on the lookout for individuals who are not only passionate consumers of media but also possess adaptability, creativity, confidence, and a strong drive to excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with local and national businesses to understand their advertising needs and objectives.
  • Develop tailored advertising solutions across radio, publishing, and digital platforms to meet clients’ goals and maximise their ROI.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and production, to deliver exceptional service and results to clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of advertising principles, media trends, and digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
