Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our North Shore office in Auckland.
As an Account Manager, you will be based in the office and engage in online calls with both existing and potential clients. Your main responsibility will be to achieve sales targets by promoting and selling new titles, as well as maximising sales from our extensive backlist. This role reports to the Senior Key Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively as a member of the sales team and within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement customer-based promotions to drive sales.
  • Maintain and manage existing accounts, ensuring regular contact within the designated call list.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities through customer-specific objectives.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach by generating and sharing ideas with colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales.
  • Background in retail book sales, Telesales, or general sales is preferred.
