Description:

You will have the overall responsibility of developing, retaining and managing a portfolio of businesses agents to provide RIA money transfer services in a determined area and /or corridor (i.e., service directed to African, Center or South East Asia, East Europe…Community). You will be expected to spend a major part of your time (around 90%) out of the office recruiting new agents and developing existing ones:.

  • Responsible for presenting RIA to potential clients (agents) and managing the entire sales process from identifying prospects, cold calling, face to face meetings, conducting presentations and user demonstrations.
  • Register in the AOB (“Agent On Boarding”) application each potential client who has the firm intention to work with Ria.
  • Responsible to actively and successfully manage the sign-up of the agent contract, collect all the mandatory documents to declare the agent to the local Regulator (see local checklist) and complete the file in the AOB application.
  • Carry out the indispensable training to the agent within the shortest time, usually 1 week since the creation of the agent code in Ria application: to be able to process the transactions, the agent must be familiar with the application, be aware of the network of correspondents with whom Ria processes the transactions and know the internal procedures.
  • Make sure the Agent is correctly dressed with the “Basic Dress” provided by the department of Marketing. If needed, the SR will have to negotiate with the agent to implement all the basic items given by Marketing in order to make visible the POS and increase the business potential of the client. After that, the SR will send a picture of the dressed agent to Marketing.

In addition, in the day-to-day job, the AM will have to:

  • Guarantee service to the agents on day to day basis and act with the aim of growing the volume of transactions by being a visible presence in the market place.
  • Be responsible to respond to requested information from the company and agents in a timely manner.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on a regular and timely basis to ensure that he/she is fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of your work.
  • Draft a ‘Weekly Report’ plan and how it compares against agreed targets.
  • Attend the sales meetings.

Good knowledge of the communities mentioned above (African, Center or South East Asia, East Europe Communities).
Used to work in a 40-60 salary scheme (fix-variable) or confident his/her performance is good enough to achieve an attractive salary.
Actively demonstrate an understanding of the Money transfer operations and systems and/or (in those countries where the agents’ market is new).
Keep abreast of issues affecting money transfer companies and the money transfer industry (main corridors, presence of immigrants in different areas.
Good knowledge of English besides local language. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
As a representative of RIA at events, you will act in a professional manner regarding the Company’s compliance demands with the aim to gain new business leads and contacts being respectful with AML laws.
