Description:

Overview:
This position is responsible for executing the employer solutions strategic growth plan by developing and supporting strategies to drive market share to Novant Health with key complex employer partners. Responsible for building & managing long lasting mutually beneficial relationships with key employers in the greater Winston Salem market. Represents Novant Health, Inc. as the primary point of contact and relationship manager in the business community. Will collaborate with senior leaders in Winston Salem, institute leaders, and Employer Solutions leadership team to package services to meet employer needs. Goal of providing competitive products and services to engage employers in health and wellbeing to create loyal NH consumers.
Responsibility for growth for several lines of business within Novant Health such as onsite and nearsite clinics, occupational medicine services, wellbeing, coaching, virtual health services, primary care connectivity, bundles of care and aiding in new innovations to meet future needs of current strategic clients.
Responsible for developing strategies to expand current book of business for key clients and manages multiple relationships, negotiates and executes closure with aggressive timelines to ensure maximum revenue to all Novant Health, Inc., entities. Assumes leadership role in management of the negotiation, execution, coordination and implementation of fee-for-service contracts with key clients. Must have the ability to provide effective strategic, analytical, communication and organizational skills within a matrix environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years sales/relationship management experience, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Strong negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities covering a large geographic area frequently.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, high energy level, willingness to network and attend business events. Ability to write clear and concise proposals, deliver polished presentations, and creates and manages quarterly client reports with a keen eye for attention to details. Maintains accurate and timely records on clients in NH approved database. Successfully uses question-based dialogue with clients to uncover needs. Ability to connect dots internally with NH leaders and institute leaders on key accounts and ensure proper follow-up is provided to all leaders. Understands and responds to client’s service issues.
  • Account/Client success: Ability to build strong relationships with internal leaders and operational team to ensure success metrics are achieved. Manages, evaluates, and maintains the execution of the account relationship to ensure continual improvement of relationship, maximum growth of volume and revenue. Negotiates and/or facilitates the execution of contractual arrangements between Novant Health and Employer Solutions key clients. Develops, initiates, recommends, and implements new business initiatives and strategy for assigned accounts. Maintains professional affiliations and participates in community, industry and professional associates to represent Novant Health within its regions. Manages multiple projects; establishes and organizes priorities and executes closure within aggressive timelines. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational issues and projects simultaneously. Willingness to work varied hours. Ability to be a self-starter, team player, work in matrix environment, contribute to a positive working environment and demonstrate initiative, ownership and accountability.
  • Business Development: meet growth targets set by employer solutions leadership. Research and develop strategies to better identify marketing opportunities, to set short and long-term goals, and to recognize obstacles that may be preventing growth. Plan and coordinate community outreach activities and/or educational in-services for referral sources, as well as brokers and consultants, chambers of commerce and business organizations on services provided. Develops a strong team player environment, prompts open, effective communication, and constructively resolves internal and external conflicts. Responsible for maintaining current client base and growing existing relationships with Novant Health services.
