Job Summary:
The Account Manager role will be accountable for developing and driving commercial outcomes within target and allocated accounts. The role will be responsible for achievement of sales budgets and implementation of the sales strategy for the selling of complex enterprise technology solutions into the allocated Public Transport operators and regulatory authorities in the target territory. Furthermore, the Account Manager is to promote and develop the Trapeze ANZ Bus business throughout the Public Transport sector including Operators, Authorities, and Industry groups.
Working collaboratively as part of a cross functional team, this role is responsible for leading the sales and sales outcomes within the assigned customer accounts.

About the Role
As our Account Manager, you will enhance client satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support the overall account management strategy for Trapeze Bus in Australia and New Zealand.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop the account management strategy for Trapeze Bus ANZ with a focus on growth & customer retention.
  • Manage key customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new opportunities within the key accounts and driving them to completion.
  • Build & maintain effective relationships with industry groups & forums.
  • Work with customers to identify and understand problems, developing solutions in conjunction with the R&D teams and initiating and managing Strategic Initiative Groups where necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, providing timely insights and recommendations to help educate and solve customer problems and drive innovation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Support sales efforts with new clients as required.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the people transportation industry, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of account management principles, practices, and strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to identify and close new opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute account management plans.
  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer needs.
