You will be joining a team known for their high standard of service and sales excellence to existing and new clients. The scope of the role will see you play an integral part in providing high quality customer collection interaction.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report to the Head of Customer Engagement and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of the end-to-end accounts AR management. This will be a hands-on role with key responsibilities for the management of customer portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Debt collection of outstanding accounts.
  • Debtors’ ledger - aging summary, approx. 1580 active customers.
  • Support the maintenance of the customer data base.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable bank statements.
  • Prepare, upload and lodge invoices to customer online payment portals.
  • Ensure correct allocation to invoices and credit notes (in ERP)
  • Management of the Outlook Inbox.
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner, both internally and externally.
  • Execute positive cash flow and control risk of doubtful debts.
  • Support receipt of customer payments (direct deposit, cheque, credit card and PayWay).
  • Perform monthly reconciliation general ledger to accounts receivable trial balance.
  • Assisting the Accounts Receivable Team.
  • Provide backup support to SRX bank reconciliation officer approx. 1300-1500 entries per day.
  • Perform regular checks on finalized jobs, review reports and follow up branches for anomalies.
