Job Summary
Our Account Technology Specialists lead the technical sales engagement on NetApp’s Products and Solutions to existing and new customers. Utilize your excellent technical and relationship building skills in working with alliance vendors, partners, and sales to ensure that optimum systems solutions are provided to customers. This team is highly visible and carries great responsibilities in enabling customers realize the benefits of using NetApp technologies and services. As a member of this team, you will significantly improve how our customers manage and control their data as well as implement our Intelligent Data Infrastructure strategies. What is a day as an Account Technology Specialists like?
Play a key role in delivering innovative technical solutions to our customers
Have a technical focus on Data Management and Hybrid Cloud Technologies
Work directly with customers and partners in pre-sales and consultative engagements
Work effectively across functions with other NetApp employees in Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Technical Support, Product Management and Development areas
Identify customer needs and requirements and deliver the best customer outcome possible
Strategize and hunt closely with your Client Exec counterpart(s)
Work with the broader NetApp team to respond to RFx’s
Escalate issues that could impact business results
Co-ordinate local, national and international technical resources to ensure that customer requirements are met, and opportunities are successfully closed
Deepen your technical capabilities by learning new technologies via training and certifications What you can bring to the table
An interest and passion for Data Management, Cloud Technologies, Virtualization, Machine Learning and Al
Proven experience with storage technologies i.e. File, Block, Object, and their specific architecture.
Understanding of the Australian Federal market technical and business landscape.
Excellent communication skills
A passion for delivering innovative technical solutions
The knack to propose and expertly demonstrate solutions using presentations, existing customer or partner solutions, white board, demos, pilots, proof-of-concepts, etc.
A curious mind and collaborative style
An AGSVA NV1 clearance level is desirable
