Newly created and working within a proactive finance team supporting the business into the future, this position plays a key part in their ongoing efficiency, being the “go-to” person between Finance and Operations to support the ongoing efficiencies of their manufacturing operations in Brisbane.

ABOUT YOU

CA/CPA (or near qualified), you will demonstrate a stable work history and have an analytical approach to your work, always looking for ways to drive cost efficiencies and improve the way things are done. Open to looking at people from a more transactional accounting background, you will have an interest in developing your commercial accouninting/ business partnering/ analytical skills further within the manufacturing industry.
You will describe yourself as motivated, proactive and improvements focused with strong attention to detail and advanced excel skills. Experience with Power BI and SAP is highly regarding.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Commerical Finance Manager, and working with stakeholders throughout the business, you will be instrumental in the improvement of processes and development of reporting and analytical tools to support decision making, having facetime with the executive team to drive decision making.

Your key tasks, will include but not be limited to:-

  • standard product costing
  • sales reporting and analysis
  • production reporting
  • variance reporting
  • inventory management
  • support month end processes and reporting
  • budgeting and forecasting
  • ad hoc projects as required
