DESCRIPTION

Our client is a large multinational manufacturing company based in Burnaby and we’re currently seeking an Accountant to join their team.

Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 - $100,000 + Bonus

Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Full cycle accounting for a business unit including preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and costing
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the implementation of accounting and internal controls policies
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.

The Successful Candidate:

• CPA in-progress (later stages) or fully designated
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years progressive accounting experience within the manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of IFRS is an asset
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
