ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or another relevant field.
• General accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office , advanced knowledge of Excel is mandatory.
• Be analytical, trustworthy, detailed orientated and accurate.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French.

• Assist in preparation of balance sheet and profit & loss statements and cash flow statements (corporate, branch and subsidiaries)
• By collecting information;
• By booking Day-to-day operations like invoices, bank statements, payments, reconciliation, …;
• By compiling, analysing and reconcile accounts;
• By reclassification of account balances and/or line items;
• By booking of adjustments, accruals and provisions;
• By booking of the currency revaluation;
• By compiling information for reporting.
• Assist in maintaining asset accounting
• By creating asset items.
• By modifying, deleting and transferring asset items;
• By reconciling the asset accounts and cost accounts;
• Assist in maintaining the chart of accounts and reporting structures by opening, modifying and deleting accounts.
• VAT and other declarations for Subsidiaries and related associates.
• Contribute to the department effectiveness.
• Maintain professional knowledge by following training.
