We are recruiting to fill the position below:

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
