We are recruiting to fill the position below:
POSITION OVERVIEW
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our finance team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
- This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
