This is a long-term contract / temporary entry-level Accountant role based in Plymouth, Minnesota. The Accountant will be responsible for data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. They will report to the Accounting Manager. • Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
• Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Log data
• Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
• Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

• Employer requires 1 year of accounting experience
• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• Experience with high volume data entry
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Earlier work involving Perform Ad Hoc Financial
• Proven knowledge of Payment Processing
• Previous experience working with Regulation
• Operations experience
• Hands-on experience with Automation
• Compliance experience
• Wide ranging experience with Quarterly
• Reporting experience
• Prior experience with journal entries
• General familiarity with finance
• Solid understanding of Discrepancy
• Practical knowledge of Workstation Support
• Experience with Financial Statement
• Expertise in Financial Control
• Proficiency in Adjustments
• Foundational knowledge in Company Policy
• Skills in implementation
• Well-founded grasp of Review
• Comprehension of account reconciliation
• Procedures experience
• Quality experience with external auditing
• Good understanding of general ledger
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with GAAP Accounting
• Solid understanding of Communication Skills
• Preferred education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
