Description:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located at Worcester Bakery and will report to the Unit Manager. The role will be responsible to oversee the financial function of the business, ensure that budgets are in place and financial controls are adhered to
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the following:
- Analyse and report financial performance against budget
- Perform accounting procedures
- Manage working capital
- Verify monthly income, balance sheet & cash flow statements
- Compile monthly reports
- Compile annual ops & capital budgets
- Maintain unit financial procedures
- Train employees on accounting systems, policies & procedures
- Manage internal financial authorisations, systems and audits
- Achieve planned budget and scheduled projects
- Maintain functional policy and legal framework
- Implement functional best practices
- Utilise SAP functionality
- Report functional information
- Utilisation of functional resources
