Responsibilities:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the daily transactions for our software and services division including revenues, trust and balance sheets, and reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end schedules
- Perform budgeting, and financial reporting activities
- Identify, analyze and implement continuous improvement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in this role
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
- You are working towards or completed the CPA designation
- You have 3-5 years of related work experience in finance and accounting
- You are an intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- You have prior experience with an accounting software (Microsoft NAV experience is an asset) and the ability to analyze and investigate the General Ledger
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are assertive, comfortable communicating with various types of individuals
- You are able to work well independently as well as within a team environment
- You possess strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
- You have superior problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze various data sets
- You take ownership of your work and demonstrate a high degree of accountability and commitment at all times
- You are a driven individual who have a strong desire to learn
- You are a quick learner with a curious mindset
- You possess strong process and systems skills
