We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role is pivotal within Push Gaming and how we effectively manage and oversee the accounting functions of the business.
Location: Remote/hybrid. Our office is in Central London and you will need to be UK based.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and transaction postings.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures, and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare VAT and corporation tax returns, and stay updated on tax law changes - identifying tax-saving opportunities where possible.
  • Analyse financial data to provide meaningful insights into our financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting auditors in their review.
  • Manage accounts payable, monitor/process vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments. Review and reconcile expenses.
  • Manage accounts receivable, monitor/process customer invoices, and ensure timely debt collection. Review and reconcile transactions.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.
  • Ensure we comply with relevant iGaming compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Other ongoing ad-hoc projects and tasks as they arise

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • At least part-qualified, but ideally fully-qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong experience in an Accounting position, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.
  • Knowledge of employment law and employment taxes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Self-motivated and self-driven, and a self-starter looking to add real value to the role
  • Interest or experience in iGaming is beneficial but not essential
