Accountant

Our client in the not for profit sector is seeking an Accountant to join their team. As Accountant you will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a contract opportunity with potential for extension based in the North York area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years progressive experience in full cycle Accounts Payable processes.
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail are required.
• Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written) required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Advanced skillsets in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, vlook up, etc.)
