Description:
Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Accountant to join a manufacturing firm in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position is 100% onsite and can potentially hire on permanently if it’s the right fit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with ERP system Acumatica
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
3+ years of experience with General Ledger Accounting
Industry experience with Construction or Manufacturing is preferred

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
Assist with audits and other financial reviews as needed
