Description:

Robert Half are hiring candidates for an Accountant opportunity within Metro Vancouver area, with a reputable not for profit organization. This role is responsible for bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, financial statement preparation and full cycle AR and little AP too. Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly journal entries
Billing/collection
Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Reconciling and leveling general ledger accounts
Investigating and correcting account discrepancies
Monthly financial statement preparation
Data entry
Month end, quarter end reporting
Miscellaneous filing
Must be familiar with Sage 300
Excel advanced Applicants are recommended
to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team
GL and month end reconciliation experience
Knowledge of journal entries
Financial Statements preparation experience
