The Company
Robert Half has partnered with a successful international logistics company to recruit a driven Assistant Accountant or qualified Accountant. This brilliant role is very involved and will bring new challenges and rewards each day as you balance a range of transactional and end of month duties alongside your Finance Manager. This company offers you a multi-faceted, opportunity to expand your skill and forge ahead your accounting career.
The Role
Prepare to work closely with the Finance Manager in assisting with all aspects of financial accounting across AUD and multiple global entities. With the use of your accounting skills, you involved in everything from accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings through to bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, general ledger reconciliations and support with tax accounting.

Your Skills & Experience

• At least 3+ years of exceptional accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• Pursing CPA/CA qualifications highly desired.
• Brilliant organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to learn new accounting systems.
• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.

About you
You offer a brilliant combination of accounting and technical skills, with a creative flair to interpret information and offer initiatives to streamline the accounting and reporting process. You are a numbers person, yet you communicate effectively with all non-financial internal and external stakeholders, and you can work seamlessly without supervision.
