Gray AE is looking to add a Sr. Staff Acctountant to our Lexington, KY office!

The new team member is required to have a bachelor’s degree with CPA certification and two years of related experience. Accounting experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:
WHAT WE EXPECT… (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documentation business transactions.
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and project company financial positions and other managers.
- Assist with in developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
- Coordinate with external auditors in annual and special audit functions.
- Track and report fixed assets including calculation of depreciation and preparation of property tax returns.
- Ensure that company is in compliance with state and local business taxes.
- May work on special projects as necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
