McNamara & Company are a dynamic boutique Accounting Practice based in Richmond. We are looking for a new Accountant to join our small team. This is a role that offers flexibility and the unique benefits you gain working in a family-owned business. The successful applicant must be motivated, self-reliant, well presented with good communication skills and able to work in a small team. Once trained the candidate will be able to liaise directly with clients on a job from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Duties will primarily comprise of bookkeeping, preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns as well as other obligations including BAS’ and the following:
- SMSF compliance
- Preparation of Financial Accounts, Tax Returns & Activity Statements
- Deal with tax issues including CGT, FBT, PSI & Division 7A
- Experience with Xero, BGL Simple Fund, Reckon, MYOB and Quickbooks software
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage your own work
- Excellent customer service skills and focus
- Excellent IT skills
