Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all financial aspects, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Deep understanding of financial management principles required.
• Experience in managing finance teams and collaborating with management for business growth.
• Regular review and enhancement of company financial policies.
• Management of full accounting cycle, including general ledger maintenance and management report preparation.
• Coordination with business partners such as bankers, auditors, and tax agencies.
• Compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Research and update procedures to align with legal requirements.
• Assistance in identifying new investment opportunities for surplus cash.
• Support in budget formulation and monitoring of project expenditures.
• Intermediary role between team members and stakeholders.
• Effective handling of calls, messages, and correspondence.
• Data entry accuracy in dictation, minutes, and documentation.
• Implementation of an efficient documentation and filing system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance.
• Applicants should possess a minimum of one professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW).
• Demonstrated success and knowledge with 3-5 years of relevant experience are essential.
• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in both English and Bahasa Melayu is required.
