Our Client is a fully regulated digital Bank offering solutions to micro businesses and SME’s. They are seeking an Accountant to place in the Finance Team

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

• Key functions will revolve around accounting and reporting.
• Providing accurate and timely month end closings to the senior management
• Work closely with the external auditors on queries and preparation of year -end financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial filing requirements in accordance with relevant authorities such as MAS Preparation of regulatory submissions to MAS, and monitoring of regulatory ratios on a timely and accurate basis.

To be eligible for this role you shall have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 4-6 years of relevant experience in a banking or auditing in a financial institution
• Good understanding of financial reporting standards and banking products
• Driven, can work unsupervised with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese to communicate with our Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
