ABOUT THE ROLE
With a significant pipeline of opportunities identified across the Transport sector, UGL are seeking to appoint an experienced Project Accountant working in the major projects space based in Queensland.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reports for the project as required in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- To ensure accounting and cost controls are in place and effective.
- Ensure accounting standards and policies are consistent and the business unit operates effective financial controls.
- Review and analyse all actual costs/expenses against standard costs, identifying and investigating any discrepancies/ blow outs, highlighting concerns to relevant manager and assisting them to put plans in place to recover variances
