Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to join our small and international Finance team in either Espoo or Stockholm to support our growth. This position presents an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in SAP and financial processes within Manufacturing for X-ray technology solutions.
Your main responsibilities will involve overseeing the company’s financial data and compliance, maintaining accurate records on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. You’ll play a vital role in our team, where autonomy and streamlining tasks for efficiency are highly valued.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform accounting tasks such as monthly/yearly financial reporting, GL entries, record payments and adjustments
• Prepare and ensure a timely and accurate monthly and yearly closing
• Preparing reconciliation files on a monthly basis and identify any potential issues
• Reporting to tax authority and any mandatory financial fillings to authorities
• Responsible for Accounts Payable (including expense claims from employees)
• Collaborate with other teams in order to smoothen the financial & reporting processes
• Support the Sales team in invoicing related matters
• Maintain documentation in order to comply with local regulations
• Support the Finance Manager and the Financial Controller by providing data and ad-hoc analysis

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in accounting or other relevant educational background in Finance
• 2 + years of experience in similar accounting role (ideally, at an international company)
• Fluent in both Finnish and English (English being the main working language)
• Fully proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 tools
• Good understanding of local GAAP
• Great teamwork ethic and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Additionally valued skills:

• Experience working with SAP
• Previous experience in a similar role with the same industry
• Understanding US GAAP and its variances from local GAAP
