Position Summary
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team based from our Blythe Valley office in Solihull. The main purpose of this role is to undertake the general ledger accounting and statutory submissions for several legal entities of Infor within the EMEA region.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Month end reporting to the corporate accounting team in accordance with the published timetable
  • Work with other finance/non finance personnel to ensure accuracy of accruals and reserves for allocated entities.
  • Complete analytical reviews of allocated entities and document /validate variances.
  • Assist with Stats Preparation
  • Cross support other team members to ensure overall achievement of deadlines. Inc:
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Prepayment Accounting
  • Supporting intercompany processing and reconciliations for the team to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and assistance with review where required.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Work on own initiative, high level of motivation
  • Possess a “can do” attitude
  • Strong team player/contributor
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Good knowledge of excel
  • Possessing positive attitude to challenges

  • Ability to interact with a range of colleagues up to and including senior management level
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Previous financial accounting experience essential, ideally within an SSC accounting environment
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit deadlines
