ABOUT THE POSITION

Our business is growing which is why we are looking to expand our Norwegian team with yet another experienced Accounting Advisor with knowledge of accounting principles and legislation in Norway.

In this role you will be…

  • Providing daily accounting services for Norwegian subsidiaries of our Nordic group clients. However, the job description is not limited only to Norwegian companies, you also get to work with other international clients.
  • Performing monthly closing tasks and reconciliations
  • Preparing financial statements independently from A to Z
  • Statutory, legal, and tax reporting and consulting
  • Communication with external customers and partners

Flexibility is highly valued at Staria and you are welcome to join one of our offices or work partly or fully remotely from your home office. Since most of our Norwegian team works from our new fresh office in Stavanger, it would be great if you are located nearby. We are of course also open for candidates in the rest of Norway, but also Sweden, Finland, Estonia, or Czech Republic. The employment is full-time and permanent and starts as soon as possible.

    Who are we looking for?
    To succeed in this position, we believe that you have a strong background in accounting and closing of the books independently. Since you will work with the Norwegian subsidiaries of our Nordic group clients, you need to have proficiency in Norwegian accounting and legislation. Previous experience in ERP systems and knowledge in payroll is also desirable but not a must.
    We believe that you are a person who thrives in a dynamic and international environment and you use your communication and interaction skills to develop strong customer and internal relations. At Staria we have English as organizational language so communication skills in English are mandatory, Norwegian and other language skills are considered a plus.
