Description:

Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for an Accounting Analyst. The Accounting Analyst will help evaluate this organization’s income and spending by working closely with the accounting and finance departments. This is a highly collaborative role, so the Accounting Analyst will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Major responsibilities
Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures
Perform the processing of functional and benefits expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary.
Bank reconciliation daily and generate the discrepancy summary report monthly.
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals and prepaid expenses.
Manage the tax filing and communicate with related issue
Review AR aging report and credit note transactions monthly
Conduct monthly financial report analysis
Prepare the monthly accounting reports
Experience working in Excel and other large ERPs
BS in accounting or finance
Strong interpersonal skills and analytical thinking
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role
Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization
Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and/or knowledge in accounting and keep current with developments and trends.
Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
