Description:

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing company.
The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting and finance departments by performing bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. If you have a high level of attention to accuracy and detail, then this is the Accounting Assistant opportunity for you! This role is located in the North Vancouver, BC area.

Your responsibilities

  • Engage with clients as necessary via email and phone
  • Help with administrative duties as they present themselves
  • Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds
  • Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
  • High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working in accounting
