Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: High School or Equivalent; an Associates degree is preferred
  • Experience : Less than 3 years
  • Associates Degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to enter data, compile accounting documents, and work accurately and efficiently with detailed transactional information.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Invoice daily meal/hull loads, and price contracts as needed.
  • Process, scan and organize tickets for payment purposes and filing/document imaging.
  • Dispatch and reconcile invoices as needed.
  • Generate Daily DPR’s.
  • Assists in verifying purchase and sales contracts are received from customers.
  • Process price later agreements/grain bank statements from reports to mailing when needed.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Process grain checks for affiliate companies. Includes calling Commodity Lien offices for payoffs, Positive Pay procedure, etc.
  • Helps support and ensure compliance with company Safety/Environmental/Quality/HR program policies and procedures.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards
  • Mai ntains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
