Description:
Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our clients team in Trenton, ON for a Temporary role. This position involves working with all aspects of full cycle accounting, A/P, A/R, and various other financial responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities: The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will be responsible for:
- Full cycle accounting, including A/P and A/R functions.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly working papers.
- Bank reconciliations and daily cash deposit processing.
- Accounts payable processing and reconciliation.
- Maintenance of prepaid schedule and routine accruals.
- Handling expense claims, corporate card statements, and employee advances.
- Processing customer cash receipts for accounts receivable.
- Other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Protecting the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong communication skills with superior attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in an accounting-based ERP system.
- Motivated, organized, and a great team player.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
