We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Vancouver team working with our Accounting team. This position is for a team player who is proactive with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate has a strong client service focus, ability to multi-task, and solid analytical and organizational skills. This position reports to Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out accounts payable including posting invoices, issuing cheques, reconciling outstanding invoices in accordance with client and firm guidelines;
  • Accounts receivable tasks such as charging clients credit cards and posting cheque and electronic payments;
  • Post disbursements such as Copitrak, BC Online, LTSA and levies;
  • Take on trust-related tasks including depositing and disbursing trust funds in accordance with Law Society rules;
  • Follow accounting policies and procedures;
  • Perform other related duties as required.
