Overview:
UiPath is in search of an Accounting Intern to join our Summer internship program in Bucharest, Romania.
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and high-energy Intern and motivated individuals who are excited to join our fast-growing teams and have a great desire to contribute to our internal processes. In this program, you will be supported by managers, mentors, and a global class of interns. As an Accounting Operations intern, you will engage in a range of activities associated with month-end closing and compliance with accounting policies.
Start date: Summer 2024
Schedule: full-time
Note: This is a 6-months full-time paid internship
Graduating Year: 2024/2025

What you’ll do at UiPath:

  • Provide general accounting support for the Record to Report team and support month-end closing processes;
  • Perform general accounting tasks, such as General Ledger reconciliations and analysis;
  • Collaborate with teams across different functions and departments to ensure accurate accounting and prompt reporting of operations;
  • Support additional tasks and projects as needed, including initiatives for process enhancement and finance systems changes.
  • Assist in preparing supporting documentation for SOX controls.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial tools;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • English fluency is required;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
